Crown Health has mobile lab services. We will arrange for lab services to come to your facility at the request of one of your residents’ providers. We also work with x-ray and ultrasound services to provide complete imaging for the community.
Lab schedules are based on the provider’s orders for labs, along with acuity of the lab work (INRs or urgent labs are completed first). Phlebotomists draw labs on weekdays. The phlebotomist will call your community prior to arrival to ensure the patient is available.
Lab results should be returned to the community with any new orders or directives within 5 to 7 business days after the provider has reviewed the labs.
FOBT kits should be sent back via mail as directed by the packaging. Urine and stool samples must be collected and dropped off by the caregiver or community at a lab of their choice along with the requisition form provided by Crown Health. Ensure there are two patient identifiers on the samples (name and date of birth) and the date the specimen was collected.
